Data processing

After their collection and the post-processed georeferencing, drone LiDAR data are classified and exported in order to be used in your own GIS software.

Drone LiDAR

Airborne LiDAR results from the association of a UAV with a high performance LiDAR. This creates a remote sensing aircraft that flies over landscapes and generates 3D point cloud models of them.

The main advantages of the combination of a drone with LiDAR is the non-intrusive property of the operation, combined to the ability to bypass all light difficulties.

This allows the LiDAR to scan through the vegetation in order to create a digital terrain model (DTM) even in challenging environments.
